Her work looks beyond isolated subjects to examine the overarching patterns, systems, and dynamics of our contemporary performance society. Instead of guiding the viewer toward a singular conclusion or didactic argument, Busl creates disorienting atmospheres filled with intentional ambiguity and paradoxes. She frequently synthesizes organic and synthetic elements, pairing ancient-seeming motifs with found objects and off-the-shelf consumer goods. Through this juxtaposition of media she is balancing between the banal and the uncanny, often manifested as site-specific installations. These hybrid environments disrupt the familiar, challenging viewers to question everyday phenomena that are too often taken for granted and inviting them into a realm of speculation and transcendence. Busl graduated from the Utrecht School of the Arts (HKU), where she received the 2024 HKU Award for most outstanding graduation work, and is currently studying at the University of Applied Arts Vienna in the Transmedia Art class under Jakob Lena Knebl. Her work has been exhibited recently at venues and platforms including the Paltz Biënnale, Kunstpodium T, Make Eindhoven, and Kunsthal Kloof. <img width="1080" height="721" width_o="1080" height_o="721" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/bba2d5440c35b6f1d6fee272e2fbffc0321a5af5a288e4e5c971d18b38c4af88/smallerpaltz1.jpg" data-mid="249702159" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/bba2d5440c35b6f1d6fee272e2fbffc0321a5af5a288e4e5c971d18b38c4af88/smallerpaltz1.jpg" /> <img width="864" height="1080" width_o="864" height_o="1080" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/61a6ede568f42a068e26b08643f429b252852dfbc42237aaf0ff6997c0fdd166/smallerpaltz2.jpg" data-mid="249702165" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/864/i/61a6ede568f42a068e26b08643f429b252852dfbc42237aaf0ff6997c0fdd166/smallerpaltz2.jpg" /> <img width="1080" height="864" width_o="1080" height_o="864" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/2343ff878f81b0c7ae5c6d12ef5816ce0e36a7510e0b37f952d0701aa19ec9d7/newnewnew1.jpg" data-mid="202032953" border="0" data-draggable src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/2343ff878f81b0c7ae5c6d12ef5816ce0e36a7510e0b37f952d0701aa19ec9d7/newnewnew1.jpg" /> <img width="2160" height="1728" width_o="2160" height_o="1728" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/bdf447aa03bb9e8c057d8b656749ef8c27265fab662c5fd63349c1f3c902bd7a/makeeind-9.jpg" data-mid="249702177" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/bdf447aa03bb9e8c057d8b656749ef8c27265fab662c5fd63349c1f3c902bd7a/makeeind-9.jpg" /> <img width="1626" height="2160" width_o="1626" height_o="2160" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/0064bea796a3ffa1c84578796da1a6e0841d8652cfd01797cf0017383e387de8/makeeind-4.jpg" data-mid="249702179" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/0064bea796a3ffa1c84578796da1a6e0841d8652cfd01797cf0017383e387de8/makeeind-4.jpg" /> <img width="667" height="1000" width_o="667" height_o="1000" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/414e5606ea2cfd714ea062cb89da0c3552253f8362af67055945af41bf7c4de8/newnew8_1.jpg" data-mid="202032944" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/667/i/414e5606ea2cfd714ea062cb89da0c3552253f8362af67055945af41bf7c4de8/newnew8_1.jpg" /> <img width="4288" height="2861" width_o="4288" height_o="2861" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/085a5ff7b0c60f6cf3b170861111161e111afa324d92b3e1d6df154d25e585a4/1.jpg" data-mid="202032841" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/085a5ff7b0c60f6cf3b170861111161e111afa324d92b3e1d6df154d25e585a4/1.jpg" /> <img width="3072" height="3840" width_o="3072" height_o="3840" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/91eca82f7cce1be47a65823fce0c5155b6c756efd2797c180d51706061a3dfa7/Lavasculpture.jpg" data-mid="202032917" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/91eca82f7cce1be47a65823fce0c5155b6c756efd2797c180d51706061a3dfa7/Lavasculpture.jpg" /> <img width="1920" height="1888" width_o="1920" height_o="1888" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/707144ce3693a2b8bed8d6c733a1efeee5995a500f126c0cbe70fd548443a162/newart1-2-2.jpg" data-mid="202032920" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/707144ce3693a2b8bed8d6c733a1efeee5995a500f126c0cbe70fd548443a162/newart1-2-2.jpg" /> <img width="3840" height="5120" width_o="3840" height_o="5120" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/329bb52771aeed819b5c482d67369751caeb7e6eb3f3330a1aba581cfcd0e29e/7.jpg" data-mid="202032851" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/329bb52771aeed819b5c482d67369751caeb7e6eb3f3330a1aba581cfcd0e29e/7.jpg" /> <img width="1626" height="2160" width_o="1626" height_o="2160" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/ac6579bf7c9a0af5578441fbe4bb975bde7c280db68210d855a60039eae9cabb/makeeind-10.jpg" data-mid="249702180" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/ac6579bf7c9a0af5578441fbe4bb975bde7c280db68210d855a60039eae9cabb/makeeind-10.jpg" />
